…DPP BUYING UTM T-SHIRTS IN ZOMBA…

In Zomba, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is on a buying spree of all UTM t-shirts and promotional materials to be used to stage a fake defection of UTM members to please President Peter Mutharika. The buying campaign which is led by former MP for Zomba Central, Yunusu Mussa aims at sweeping all UTM materials from the streets of Zomba to project an image to Mutharika that there is no UTM in the city of Zomba. Each t-shirt is being bought at 5000 kwacha.

These t-shirts will be used to stage a fake defection of UTM members tomorrow at Zomba State Lodge when Mutharika presides over a fund-raising luncheon for the party. It is expected that DPP supporters will be asked to put on the UTM t-shirts and to act as members of UTM who have defected to the DPP, after which the UTM t-shirts will be burned to ensure UTM visibility in Zomba is diminished.
