O responsável regional do partido no governo no Zimbábue alegadamente sequestrado hoje de manhã foi afinal detido por polícias à paisana por suspeita de tentativa de homicídio de um político do partido rival, informou a polícia.
"Samson Magumura foi detido por tentativa de homicídio no ataque à bomba que vitimou, no início da semana, um responsável da Zanu-PF, o partido [do presidente Robert] Mugabe", explicou à AFP a porta-voz da polícia, Charity Charamba, no dia em que o Zimbábue vota em referendo uma nova constituição.
O partido do primeiro-ministro, Movimento para a Mudança Democrática (MDC), tinha antes anunciado que o seu responsável tinha sido raptado por quatro homens armados.
