Cavaco Silva insultado na sua página do Facebook após fazer queixa de Sousa Tavares
A página no Facebook do Presidente da República, Aníbal Cavaco Silva, está a ser inundada com comentários insultuosos após o chefe de Estado ter pedido esta sexta-feira à Procuradoria-Geral da República que analisasse as declarações de Miguel Sousa Tavares ao Jornal de Negócios em que o escritor e comentador apelida Cavaco Silva de «palhaço».
«Cavacóide purulento», «Só nos envergonhas, devias ser internado compulsivamente», «contorcionista», «larápio» são apenas alguns dos termos em que vários dos internautas se dirigem a Cavaco Silva.
Outros comentários, contudo, defendem o chefe de Estado, argumentando que ninguém pode insultar a primeira figura do Estado português.
Em entrevista ao Jornal de Negócios publicada hoje, Miguel Sousa Tavares defende que «o pior que nos pode acontecer é um Beppe Grillo, um Sidónio Pais. Mas não por via militar». «Nós já temos um palhaço.
Chama-se Cavaco Silva. Muito pior do que isso, é difícil», acrescentou.
A PGR já anunciou que vai abrir um inquérito às declarações porque, de acordo com a lei, deverá tratar-se de um crime de ofensa à honra do Presidente, punível com pena até três anos.
«As expressões proferidas são susceptíveis de integrar a prática do crime de ofensa à honra do Presidente da República, previsto no artigo 328.º do Código Penal», indica a PGR em comunicado. «Tendo o crime natureza pública, o Ministério Público procedeu à instauração de inquérito», refere ainda.
Entretanto, Sousa Tavares, já reconheceu ter se excedido ao chamar «palhaço» ao Presidente da República, frisando que não tem qualquer respeito pelo político Cavaco Silva, mas que respeita a instituição Presidência da República.
